Guide Dog Schools
Guide Dogs of Texas – Wendy is currently raising a puppy for Guide Dogs of Texas.
Southeastern Guide Dogs – Wendy raised five puppies and formerly worked with high school students as the area coordinator for the Houston FFA Puppy Raising group. In January 2011, Mike received his third guide dog, Elma, from Southeastern.
Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation Inc. – Mike’s current guide dog, Subi, and fourth guide dog, Laila, were received from Fidelco in January 2019 and March 2014 respectively.
Leader Dogs for the Blind – Mike’s first guide dog, Cody, and second guide dog, Syrus, were received from Leader Dogs in May 1993 and January 2003 respectively.
Sports Associations
USA Adaptive Water Ski & Wake Sports – Mike is currently the Chair and Director, South Central Region and member of the USA Adaptive Water Ski Team, and former President.
United States Association of Blind Athletes – Mike became a USABA lifetime member in the mid-1990’s during his running and snow skiing days.
