I hope you did not give up on us. Things got a bit busy; therefore, we missed posting on two Sundays. As promised a couple of weeks ago, there will be several suggested donation amounts calculated below based on Eric’s approximate birth weight of three pounds. Specifically, you might recall from the Royal Family Birth Weight Fundraiser page, Eric was born at 29 weeks of pregnancy and weighed three pounds and four ounces. Before getting feeding perfected, Eric actually dropped a few ounces and weighed under three pounds for a while.
In the above picture, the small 2.5 pounds plate, on the far left side of the bar from Eric’s perspective, is about equal to Eric’s lowest NICU weight. Eric is bench pressing 280 pounds in total or 93.33 times his birth weight.
Now for the math, in the table below maximum weight amounts are provided for a few of Eric’s lifts. The maxes are divided by Eric’s approximate birth weight of three pounds to calculate the suggested donations.
| Exercise | Max | Donation |
| Dumbbell Press | 100 | $33.33 |
| Bench Press | 280 | $93.33 |
| Leg Press | 400 | $133.33 |
The math has been done, now all you have to do is to challenge yourself to find your max amount (come on now, push yourself, you got it, just a little more, finish strong) and make a donation to March of Dimes Do-It-Yourself Fundraising – Mike Royal.
