On the November hunt I was armed only with my finger. Much gear has been acquired and I am starting to feel like a real hunter.

My hunting companion, Kirk Musgrove, and I have not been able to get to the range to practice or fine-tune sighting in my rifle; therefore,  on this hunt, we were working on securely mounting the Winchester XPR 300 Win Mag equipped with the Accufire Noctis V1 sight to a BOG Death Grip tripod to determine if Kirk could talk me on target long enough to take a picture.

 The above photo of a Sika Deer taken with the Noctis V1 sight proves we are moving in the right direction.

Each time we make progress, I am starting to believe a successful hunt is in our near future.
